Gymna electrotherapy and ultrasound devices

Electrotherapy and ultrasound device for physiotherapy

Looking for an electrotherapy and ultrasound device for your clinic? Gymna brings together electrotherapy, ultrasound, vacuum and laser in equipment designed for daily clinical practice. On this page you will find the 400 Series with the Guided Therapy System, the Ultrasound Compact and the modular Elexeo platform.

Electrotherapy uses electrical impulses to relieve pain, stimulate muscles and support tissue recovery. Ultrasound can deliver thermal or non-thermal energy, depending on the protocol chosen by the physiotherapist.

Gymna Ultrasound Compact

Compact ultrasound with DynamUS motion control

Each ultrasound head is recognised automatically, so heads can be swapped between devices and two can be connected at once (one small and one large). DynamUS detects the speed at which the head moves over the skin and guides the treatment rhythm, with an LED warning when the movement is too slow or too fast.

  • 7-inch capacitive touchscreen, no buttons
  • Works on mains power or on the rechargeable internal battery
  • Glass front, easy to clean and disinfect with alcohol
  • Non-slip magnetic holder for the ultrasound head

Gymna Elexeo

Modular therapy platform, Red Dot Design Award 2025

Elexeo is a modular platform: you choose the treatments your practice needs and add plug-and-play modules later. It includes current (neuromodulation, TENS, NMES, microcurrent), ultrasound and Vaco treatment (vacuum for electrode fixation), on a tiltable 10-inch touchscreen. The system expands without tools.

  • Winner of the Red Dot Design Award 2025 (Product Design, medical devices); designed by Blackbirds, Antwerp
  • Cabling, battery and storage designed for mobile use
  • Applications described by the manufacturer: pain management, muscle activation and rehabilitation, neurological and musculoskeletal rehabilitation, support for tissue repair

Frequently asked questions

What is an electrotherapy device used for?

Electrotherapy uses electrical impulses to relieve pain, stimulate muscles and support tissue recovery. The programme to use depends on the protocol defined by the physiotherapist.

How much does a Gymna electrotherapy device cost?

The price depends on the range, the modules and the accessories. Request a quote and we will propose the equipment best suited to your practice.

What is the difference between electrotherapy and ultrasound?

Electrotherapy applies electrical impulses through electrodes (for example TENS or muscle stimulation). Ultrasound applies mechanical energy through a treatment head. Combined devices let you use both therapies, separately or at the same time.

What is the Guided Therapy System (GTS)?

It is the 400 Series system that guides the choice and execution of treatment, with colours per therapy, positioning images and clinical information on screen.

Can I connect two ultrasound heads at the same time?

Yes, on the Gymna Ultrasound Compact: two simultaneous connections, with automatic head recognition.

How do I ask for a proposal?

Use the contact form at the bottom of this page or talk to the Sausport team. We will recommend the equipment best suited to your practice.
